Version control tools used for software development
Version control is the practice of tracking and managing changes to software code, documents, or other related materials over time. It allows multiple people to collaborate on a project, keep track of changes, and revert to previous versions if needed. Version control tools are useful for software development as they help facilitate collaboration and enable efficient project management. In this section, we analyse the version control tools used by RSEs for software development.
